My Thyroid-Healthy Snack List

Today, I’m sharing 12 thyroid-healthy snack ideas for those times when you need quick fuel. Everything on the list is gluten-free, dairy-free, grain-free, and Paleo compliant.

We’ve all been there. The clock is ticking. You have an appointment, or work, or a class to get to. Your tummy growls and you know that if you don’t get something in it soon you’re going to end up a drive-through or a donut shop. It’s a dangerous spot to end up in when you’re trying to eat for your thyroid and overall health.

So many of us are in various stages of cutting out inflammatory foods like refined sugar, oils, and wheat flour. We’re trying to eat real, whole foods which don’t come in a box or plastic package. Some of us have discovered unique food sensitivities like nightshades or eggs. These factors require us to COOK and if we don’t plan ahead, a major case of ‘The Hungries’ can sneak up on us and land us smack-dab in the candy bar aisle.

So, what to do when we need on-the-fly calories?

I’ve created this list of whole-food, nutrient-dense snack ideas for people like us. Two categories cover on-the-fly and make-in-advance snacks. All options exclude wheat, dairy, refined sugar, refined oils, grains, and soy. Our nutritional needs as thyroid patients are unique to the individual, so choose the options that are right for your body.

GET THE LIST

Hope this helps you defeat ‘The Hungries’ and stay on track with your thyroid-healing goals! Enjoy : )

Wishing You the Best of Health,

P.S. Need help implementing some of these diet and lifestyle changes, or getting back on track? THYROID30® was created to help you do just that– so that you can feel like you again. Click HERE to learn more or join our upcoming wellness adventure.
